La Conner Remodel
ABOUT THE PROJECT
Seeking a quieter life in La Conner’s Historic District, our clients set out to reimagine their kitchen and main floor. In collaboration with Seattle-based architect Nicole Starnes Taylor of MAKE Design Studio, our focus was to create a contemporary, highly-functional kitchen and dining space to replace the original, outdated setup.Â
Key upgrades include a custom maple Euro-style cabinet package from Smith & Vallee with a natural finish, quartz countertops by Stone Pros, and a stainless-steel fireplace façade from Tilt Shift Design Studio. If you know anything about our local craftspeople, you know that this is an all-star lineup.
Other work included installing a sleek recessed range hood, new appliances, new flooring, a feature tile wall, and a 12-foot-wide glass sliding door that opens up to sweeping views of the Cascades.
